“Beautiful words can move mountains and hills and help achieve our dreams,” so goes the belief of Room 20 students. This line inspires them to become composers or writers of “Narratives” using their imagination and creative thinking.

Yes, the whole class made a project on “Narratives” last term. Students composed original stories based on pictures and titles that were given to them. They were guided by the success criteria for writing narratives like Orientation, Problem and its Resolution and conclusion. They made use of descriptive language such as similes, adjectives and connectives. Examples of interesting titles they created or made – Way to the Future, The Strange Noise, The Sound in the Attic, Another day of Saviour, The Old Wrinkly Lady, A Helping hand and many more.

I believe that Sutton park School is on its way of producing great writers of the future.
