PB4L means Positive Behaviour for Learning and this is running in our school again this year.
We have lots of exciting plans to improve the way we work even more!
We follow the values of…
Pride:
Perseverance
Respect
Identity
Diversity
Excellence
Students learn the POSITIVE ways to work and play so that we can all be happy, safe and learn as much as we can.
We each belong to a ‘House’ and we work together in competitions to get points.
Students who win the weekly “Student of the Week” certificates and especially the “Principal’s awards” are showing our school values beautifully!
This year we have our PEER MENTORS helping in the school. These are senior students trained in helping with conflict resolution and helping everyone play POSITIVELY at playtimes. They wear pink vests to represent “anti-bullying”.
If they need to, they facilitate WARM conversations to help students get back to happy play
