The easy words for young children and more difficult words for older children.

One activity could be: choose a word they don't know and get them to find out everything they can about it. One word a day could be 365 words in one year. One word a week is 52 words a year.

Make sure that they have dictionaries at home to use or go to the Library. An excellent Library is next to the Metro Theatre on Massey Road.

School Fees
We do not ask for fees or donations. You may have read in the New Zealand Herald
that we are one of the very few schools who do not request school fees or donations.

Vehicles
Please drop off children outside the school gate (not on yellow line)
so they don’t have to cross the road before entering the school.
A reminder that the gates are closed from 8:30 - 9 am and 2:45 - 3pm.
If you are parked inside the school at these times you will have to stay there until the gates are opened.

School Crossing
Parents please make sure your children cross the road before and after school on the school crossing not up by the shops.
We have calls from concerned parents about children running
across the road by the shops. The school and Manukau City Traffic are doing our best to make sure children know about
road safety. Your support would be appreciated.
